The latest update to Hudu, version 2.33.0, introduces new features and various improvements. We are excited for you to try it.
New Features & Improvements
- Asset Link fields can now pull from multiple asset layouts: Select ‘All Asset Layouts’ from the ‘Pull From’ tab when editing the Asset Link field to enable this option.
- Address field type for asset layouts: We’ve added a new asset layout field type for addresses. Assets with an address will also display a link to open the address in a new tab using Google Maps.
- For those who utilize Mapbox, you’ll also see a Mapbox map directly within the asset.
- By enabling the ‘Include as a pin on map in Company's overview’ in the field settings, these pins can also add additional pins to a company’s main homepage map.
- Compare asset differences: When updates are made to an asset, after viewing the revision history, you can easily compare what changes were made to your custom fields.
- Ability to disable the Hudu browser extension: Admins will now have the ability to disable the Hudu browser extension for a given instance.
- Activity log icons: Activity log record names will now have an icon next to the name indicating if the activity was done via the mobile app, Hudu browser extension, or Hudu ScreenConnect extension. Activity done on the Hudu web app has no icon.
Bug Fixes
We've also addressed several bugs to ensure a smoother experience:
- Fixed an issue with the racks feature that was causing a 500 error and preventing re-access.
- Various other minor bug fixes and enhancements.
