Meet the Hudu MCP

Connect Hudu to an LLM of your choice to empower your team. Built for MSPs who don't have time to write every article by hand.

An AI assistant with no context is just hallucinating

Your AI tools are guessing, not reading

  • Without direct access to Hudu, your AI assistant is guessing — it doesn't know your environments, conventions, or what changed last week.

Writing docs still means starting from nothing

  • A new client, a new SOP, a new integration — every one still starts as a blank page someone has to write by hand.

AI-assisted work with no paper trail

  • Once AI starts editing documentation, someone will ask what it touched and when — with no audit trail, that's a question nobody can answer.

Use Cases

What will you ask?

Here are a few use cases that customers are already exploring:

Documentation audit

Find every article that's a draft, hasn't been reviewed in 6 months, or has no owner — and rank them by client.

Ticket-to-doc updates

A ticket just closed on resetting the Acme VPN — turn the resolution steps into an updated KB article.

Stalled SOPs

Show me every process run across my clients that hasn't been touched in two weeks so I can follow up.

Documentation gaps

Which servers are missing IP address or warranty info in their asset record?

Coverage gaps across clients

Which of my clients don't have a documented backup and disaster recovery procedure?

Unused content finder

Show me which KB articles haven't been viewed in 90 days, so I know what to archive or retire.

New hire, zero setup

Start the onboarding checklist for a new hire at Acme Corp.

Compliance sweep

Flag every password entry across all clients that isn't labeled as MFA-enabled.

New client, day one

Set up the standard documentation folders and starter articles for a brand-new client.

Warranty countdown

List every piece of hardware across all clients that's out of warranty in the next 90 days.

Plug into your existing AI stack

Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Copilot Studio, so there's no need to change your AI workflow to use it.

OAuth-based, standard MCP endpoint — no custom integration work

FAQs

The Hudu MCP Server is a vendor-built MCP server that gives AI clients structured, permissioned access to your Hudu documentation. It exposes article, asset, process, and activity-log capabilities through the open Model Context Protocol standard, so an AI assistant can read and act on your actual environment instead of guessing.

The Hudu MCP Server works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Copilot Studio, and with any AI client that supports the Model Context Protocol. It's LLM-agnostic by design, so teams can keep using the AI client they've already standardized on.

AI agents can search and retrieve knowledge base articles, draft or edit documentation, look up and update asset records, create and run process checklists (onboarding, offboarding, maintenance), apply compliance labels, and pull activity logs for audit and access review — all scoped to the companies and records the authenticated user can access.

Every action through the Hudu MCP Server runs through OAuth-based authentication, so an AI agent can only see and act on records the connected user already has permission to access. There's no separate, broader access path for AI than for a human user of the same account.

Yes. Article edits, asset changes, and other AI-initiated actions appear in Hudu's activity logs the same way manual changes do, so administrators can see what was drafted, edited, or updated, and when.

Yes. The same AI conversation can search articles, look up assets, or start a process run for any client the user has access to, without switching context or tools per client.

No. It connects to your existing Hudu account and documentation as-is — there's no data migration, and no separate AI-tier product to adopt.

The Hudu MCP Server is included with your existing Hudu subscription at no additional cost. Since it's bring-your-own-LLM, you connect it to whichever AI client you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Copilot Studio — and only pay for that AI provider directly. There's no separate Hudu AI tier, seat add-on, or usage markup.

Your AI already has the tools. Give it the docs.

Connect Hudu to Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot Studio so every draft, lookup, and audit runs on your actual documentation — not a guess.
