Referral Program: Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

The Hudu Referral Program ("program") allows eligible Hudu customers to earn account credits by referring new customers to Hudu. By participating in the program, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Referrers must:

1. Be an active paying Hudu customer in good standing (meaning no overdue invoices, active terms violations, or account suspensions) at the time the credit is applied

Referred accounts must:

1. Be net-new to Hudu — no prior trial, account, or active subscription under any email domain associated with the organization
2. Sign up using a unique referral link provided by the referrer
3. Use a different email domain than the referrer’s account

Hudu employees, contractors, affiliates, resellers, and implementation partners are not eligible to participate as referrers.

3. Attribution

A referral is valid when a new customer signs up directly through the referrer’s unique referral link, provided all other eligibility requirements are met. There is no time-based expiry on a referral link.

4. Incentive amounts

Incentives are applied automatically and do not require manual redemption. There is no cap on the number of referrals a referrer may earn credit for.

5. Payout timing

1. Referred customer discount — applied automatically at signup
2. Referrer credit — applied to the referrer’s account balance upon the referred customer’s first successful paid invoice

No credit is issued for trials that do not convert to a paid subscription.

6. Credit reversal

Referrer credits may be reversed if the referred customer cancels their subscription within 90 days of their first paid invoice. Hudu reserves the right to reverse credits in connection with early cancellations at its discretion.

7. Credit terms

1. Credits are applied to account balance only and automatically offset future invoices
2. Credits are non-transferable and may not be applied to another account
3. Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunds
4. Credits expire immediately upon account cancellation
5. Credits may not be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated

8. Abuse policy

To protect the integrity of the program, the following rules apply:

1. Only one referral credit may be earned per new referred account
2. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited — you may not refer yourself, a related entity, or an account you control
3. Referral links and codes may not be posted to public coupon sites, deal aggregators, or affiliate networks
4. Hudu reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or forfeit credits if fraudulent activity or abuse is suspected
5. Accounts found to be in violation of these terms may be removed from the program and may have pending credits cancelled or reversed

9. Program changes

Hudu reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

10. General

1. These terms are governed by Hudu’s standard Terms of Service
2. Participation in the program is also subject to Hudu’s Privacy Policy. By participating, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein, including referral tracking and program-related notifications.
3. In the event of a conflict between these terms and Hudu’s Terms of Service, Hudu’s Terms of Service shall prevail
4. Hudu’s decisions regarding credit eligibility, abuse determinations, and program participation are final
