Meet Turbine Standard, LTD
Turbine Standard, LTD is a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) company specializing in airplane engines. When Ryan Mangold stepped into the Network Administrator role, IT documentation was a patchwork of Excel spreadsheets and Word documents — and large portions of the environment weren't documented at all. Since adopting Hudu, Ryan has transformed IT operations into a centralized information hub.

What challenges led you to switch to Hudu?
Starting from scratch — with gaps no one had filled
When I took over the Network Administrator role, there was no dedicated IT documentation platform in place. What existed was fragmented and incomplete.
- Everything was manually tracked through Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
- A lot wasn't being tracked at all when I took over this position
- I fixed a lot of it through Hudu integrations, Hudu password storage, and Hudu's KB features
How are you using Hudu today?
I use Hudu's integrations to keep track of personnel account details and devices. With the NinjaOne integration, I was able to keep track of a lot of device details — IP addresses, model and serial numbers — and with some custom fields I can track any details I want and attach them all to the assigned employee of each device. I use the KB to store process documents and SOPs as well as backup reports. I also use it as a backup for my policies and evidence storage for CMMC. Each day I'm adding more functionality to my toolset.
NinjaOne integration
Hudu's NinjaOne integration automatically syncs device data — including IP addresses, model numbers, and serial numbers — directly into Hudu. Combined with custom asset fields, teams can attach any additional detail they need and link each device to its assigned employee, building a living inventory without manual entry.
Knowledge base
Hudu's Knowledge base serves as a central home for SOPs, process documents, and backup reports. With everything stored in one structured, searchable location, technicians can find what they need fast — no more digging through shared drives or outdated Word docs.
Password management
Hudu's built-in password vault provides a secure, centralized place to store credentials — replacing ad hoc methods and ensuring sensitive access information is always where it needs to be.
Custom assets & fields
Hudu's flexible asset types and custom fields let teams model their environment exactly as it exists — tracking any detail they want and building a structure that fits their organization, not the other way around.
CMMC certified
As a CMMC-certified platform, Hudu gives teams a trusted place to store policy documents and audit evidence — making it a natural fit for organizations with compliance obligations alongside day-to-day IT operations.
Magic Dash & API
Hudu's Magic Dash allows teams to build fully custom dashboards surfacing real-time data from across their environment. Combined with the open API, it's a foundation for automation, reporting, and visibility that grows alongside the team.
What problems is Hudu solving for your business?
An information hub that does it all
- It's functioning as my information hub, password bank, and inventory — all in one place
- Device tracking tied to individual employees via NinjaOne integration and custom fields
- SOP and process document storage that's actually findable
- Policy and compliance evidence management for CMMC
With that, Turbine Standard has:
- Cut ticket resolution time in half
- Cut end user onboarding time in half
- Cut new technician onboarding time in half
What do you like most about Hudu?
Built to fit the way you work — not the other way around
- What I like most about Hudu is its flexibility. You can feed it as much or as little information you want. You can build it out exactly how you want to.
