The Hudu team is thrilled to announce Hudu 2.22, the latest version of our SOC 2 Type II documentation solution. Here’s what we’ve been working on:
Highlights of this version
- ConnectWise Control Hudu Extension – Access passwords and knowledge base articles from Hudu directly inside ConnectWise Control. Available in the ConnectWise Control extension store.
- New Processes – Hudu processes have been fully rehauled. Delegate tasks to be displayed on user dashboards. Task management now includes the ability to assign priorities and set due dates. Added a new organizational ability to transfer processes from a company page to a Global Process Template.
- OpenAI Integration – Write articles with the power of ChatGPT. Be able to start writing articles faster than ever, with the power of Artificial Intelligence.
- Text Editor Improvements – Hudu now supports a variety of Markdown commands to make writing high-quality documentation easier than ever. Hudu’s editor now has a toolbar that follows you as you write which makes it much faster to create beautiful articles.
- Company Redesign – The Company page has been redesigned to make navigating portals easier. Sharing has been moved to a tab on the company page. Basic information is now clearly displayed, making it easy to copy and view phone numbers, addresses, and more. The museum has been moved out of the sidebar and into a tab to make the sidebar less cluttered.
- Sidebar Redesign – The Hudu sidebar for companies has been redesigned for better navigation. Folders are now clearly indicated with a new design. A resizable sidebar has been added to all pages inside a client. There is now a light version of the sidebar when using Light Mode.
- Child Client Improvements – Child clients/locations have now been made much easier to navigate. Breadcrumbs are added to make going from Parent to Child clients more intuitive!
Other changes
- Fixed a bug in the asset layout editor that prevented heading fields from showing properly in dark mode.
- Leaderboard now shows all active users (previously only showed the top 8 users).
- Asset QR codes width/height can now be configured to your size preferences.
- Links added to a password’s “notes” section will now auto-link.
- Fixed a bug that caused the page to error when deleting assets with expirations.
